Introduction to the Site

Teaching students how to get along with their peers, school staff and family members is becoming an increasingly important role of the educator. Contemporary research has shown again and again that developing social skills is critical to students' academic and personal successes. This web site provides teachers with resources to incorporate social skills training into their instruction of the language arts California Frameworks and to reinforce those lessons within the school community. There are over 100 lesson plans in this web site-all cross referenced to the Prentice Hall textbook literature.
