Community Climate

The El Dorado Community is a nurturing, educational environment for middle school students. The teaching staff has been trained in the latest motivational strategies, incorporating critical elements of the B.E.S.T. and Second Step programs. The B.E.S.T. (Building Effective Schools Together) program stresses the use of consistent positive reinforcement by everyone involved with our students' school program: parents, teachers, support staff, administrators, etc. Our program has a strong research base and a "School Climate Committee" meets to review data about the school's performance every two weeks.
