Skills and School Assemblies |
| Assemblies afford a wondrous opportunity
to not only learn new information, they're an awesome situation
in which to learn the social skills needed in a large group: *Feeling comfortable in close proximity to others. *Negotiating between people |
*Tolerating being touched by strangers *Being silent during a presentation *Speaking before a large group |
School assemblies have included grade level orientations, school plays, concerts, guest speakers and graduation ceremonies.

Assemblies are scheduled on the average of one every other month. Nighttime performances occur at least three times each year.
