Drawing
Idioms |
Students were given a list of idioms
that were studied in class. We reviewed their meanings, then the
students were asked to draw what the idiom seemed to suggest literally.
This is exactly the opposite activity of the worksheets from Myra
Auslin's "Monkey Business." Ms. Auslin's book contains
such absurdities, which the students cross out to signify their
deceptive meanings.
