Why
should we protect endangered animals?
We have already lost hundreds of species of animals to extinction. Once they are gone, they will never come back. It is important that we protect animals. All animals play important parts in the food chain as well as assisting other animals and plants.
The Lesser Long-nosed bat is a bat in the desert that is the only animal that spreads this cactus flowers pollen from plant to plant. We use this cactus for many purposes. There are many examples like this where bats and all animals are beneficial and need to be protected.
